langavatn guesthouse in athaldalur exceeded our expectations in every way. the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view. the breakfast and dinner were delicious and the wifi connection was excellent. one of our favorite stays in iceland!

We had an amazing experience at this cozy guesthouse. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even making a fresh salad from their greenhouse to go with our pizza. the views were beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast with freshly baked bread. the staff, especially Linda, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We truly felt at home here and it was one of our favorite places we stayed during our trip. Cons: Finding the guesthouse was a bit challenging. .

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this cozy guesthouse near Langavatn lake. The warm atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the hostess was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had lovely conversations, and she even treated us to her delicious homemade cinnamon buns. The location was also perfect for visiting both Myvatn and Husavik. highly recommended!

I had a lovely stay at a guesthouse with beautiful surroundings. The isolated location at the edge of a tranquil lake was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The cozy living room with hot chocolate and great fish soup added to the warm and inviting atmosphere. The hosts were very helpful and laid back, making us feel like guests rather than customers.

The bathroom facilities were limited, with only two shared bathrooms for a lot of rooms, resulting in some wait times. Additionally, the bunk bed room was small and could use hooks for hanging towels and clothing.

We had a lovely stay at a hidden gem midway between Myvatn and Husavik. The guesthouse is located in a picturesque location with stunning views. The homemade soup and fresh bread served for dinner were absolutely delicious. The rooms, although small, were comfortable and cozy. The renovated farmhouse has a lot of character, and we enjoyed the peacefulness of the surroundings. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as limited breakfast options and a small bathroom, the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this guesthouse for a unique and memorable stay in Iceland. we had a great time and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Charming location with mountain views and a small lake. Cozy rooms, comfortable beds, and hot water. Owners are welcoming and make you feel at home. Beautiful surroundings, including a brook with a bridge for children to play. Tasty dinner and breakfast included.
